Local Market Update

What’s happening in our local College Station, Texas Real Estate Trends and Bryan, Texas Real Estate Market Trends. Well, we had a VERY slow past 30 days in Sales, but everything is starting to pick up. Hi everyone, Sherri Echols, Broker Associate with RE/MAX Bryan – College Station.

We currently have 228 Active Resale Single Family Homes in Bryan and 114 New Construction Single Family Homes which is relatively low but we should expect to see the number increase significantly as we head into the Spring. Right now on most of our listings below $200,000 we are seeing multiple offers as inventory increases this trend will likely go down. There are currently 53 single family homes Pending and 41 new construction home sales pending; and 39 single family resale homes and 14 new construction homes sold in the last 30 days in Bryan.

Now what’s happening in College Station, Texas Real Estate? We have 333 Active single family homes for re-sale and 103 new construction homes on the market. There are 111 pending re-sales and 20 new construction sales pending. With 62 existing homes being sold in the last 30 days and 8 new construction homes sold in the last 30 days. The market is quickly gaining momentum as we head into spring.

If you are thinking of moving up into a bigger home, now is a great time with interest rates being so low. Same for downsizing, with low interest rates, the folks who would buy your larger home can afford more so you can sell easier! Call me with any questions you may have about the market or your home’s value, I’m always here to help. This has been Sherri Echols, a helping hand for a happy home.
