People often ask how I ended up in real estate—but the better question is why I stayed.
I didn’t enter this business chasing volume, visibility, or industry titles. I entered it because housing sits at the intersection of stability, security, and dignity. I’ve lived enough life to understand that a home is more than a line item on a balance sheet; it is the foundation for everything else.
Experience Earned, Not Borrowed
Like many who find their way into real estate as a second act, I arrived with my experience already earned. With a BBA in Management from Texas A&M (’91) and 20 years of service within the Texas A&M system, I didn’t need a sales script to understand responsibility.
Working in the university system taught me dedication, diligence, and the critical thinking required to navigate complex bureaucracy. I understand what it feels like to make decisions that affect more than just yourself—and I bring that weight of responsibility to every client I represent.
Clarity Over Hype
Early in my career, I realized that buyers and sellers weren’t actually looking for an “agent.” They were looking for clarity. They wanted someone who could explain the market without drama, pressure, or spin. My standard is simple: I provide the information you need to make a major decision without making that decision feel overwhelming. Whether you are a first-time buyer or a seasoned investor, my role isn’t to push you to move faster than you’re ready; it’s to ensure you are confident when you do.
Deep Roots in the Brazos Valley
Bryan–College Station is a unique “micro-market.” It’s steady, relationship-driven, and deeply influenced by the traditions of Aggieland. I chose to build my business here intentionally because this region rewards integrity and service over flash.
My practice has evolved to serve those who need more than just a transactional hand:
- Veterans & Military Families: Providing the specialized service our service members deserve.
- Seniors: Navigating complex life transitions with patience and respect.
- Relocators: Helping new residents find their place in the community I’ve called home for decades.
A Philosophy of Steady Service
I believe real estate should feel supportive, not stressful. Strategic, not reactive. Thoughtful, not rushed.
When I’m not at the closing table, you’ll likely find me volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, coaching Special Needs Basketball, or serving on the College Station Zoning Board. For me, real estate is just one way I serve the community I love.
I don’t measure my success by how loud the process is—I measure it by how steady it feels for you. At the end of the day, I’m not just here to sell houses. I’m here to help you move forward with the right information in your hands.
That’s who I am. And that’s how I work.
