Flow Chem is doing an $80 Million dollar Growth project, hopefully that will bring more jobs to the area.
Also in the news lately is a 70 million dollar research and teaching facility for the College of Engineering coming soon to PVAMU!
Updates include a new hotel being built in Prairie View!. This hotel will be built on the 55 acres just east of Hwy 290 and University Drive. There will also be student residences built within this project. My thought is that this will greatly assist in the drive to get access roads put in between University and Richards Rd. at the very least. Access roads will make a huge difference in the community.
Ross is building a distribution center in Brookshire. Not too far away and should bring some employment opportunities as well. Which will create a need for more housing.
