When it comes to buying or selling your home – Between headlines, your neighbor that just sold their house, and the news – you are getting a TON of bad information. Myth #1: that you need 20% down to buy a home — FALSE.
That’s not the case, there are so many loan types and loan options out there, even some for zero down! You really don’t know how much you need to put down until you ask about your specific situation. I’ll connect you with a lender who can answer all the questions you have and give you an accurate answer.

Myth #2: That you’ll never qualify because your credit is too bad, you had an accident that effected your credit score, medical collections, or that your income level isn’t high enough. — once again… FALSE!!
If you’re paying RENT you’re already paying a mortgage! You’re just paying someone else’s.
You really don’t know what you’ll qualify for – until you ASK!!

Myth #3: That you need to price your home HIGHER than the market so that you have room to negotiate when selling. THIS IS TERRIBLE ADVICE!!! No. false.
If you follow this wrong advice it could cost you THOUSANDS… AND! Your house could be left on the market for a LONG TIME with no offers!
Any Master Certified Negotiation Expert would tell you this – unfortunately most agents are not.

4 That if you pay less commission that you will make more profit, or that your bottom line will be higher. This may seem like a logical numbers game. But what we KNOW to be true is that you get what you pay for when an agent is concerned. A higher commission with the right agent actually makes you not only money in so many areas but it also saves you time and frustration.

An agent who takes less commission – cuts corners on all the things that actually sell your house for the highest price possible in as little time as possible.

5 that all agents are the same — this couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Agents differ in marketing tactics – some not actually MARKETING your house at all. Just throwing it on the MLS and putting a sign in your yard.. Yikes.
